JOB TITLE:  Head of Compliance & Regulation (Banking/Financial Services)  

 

THE OPPORTUNITY:

On behalf of our client, Red Tree Consulting is currently looking to recruit a Chief Compliance Officer for their Dublin operations.

 

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will have full responsibility for all Compliance related matters within the organisation.

Responsible for the day to day management and execution of the Compliance program, including European branch oversight, risk assessments, testing and reporting (this will cover Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions Compliance, Data Protection, Information Security, and Regulatory Complaints handling.

The position will interact directly with other key bank functions including Credit, Treasury, Finance, Risk, Fraud and Operations.
 

CANDIDATE PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Extensive Compliance experience at a senior level within a Banking/Financial Services environment.

Comfortable working as a self starter and in a project management team or lead role.

Ability to operate in a matrix organisation, build relationships at all management levels, strong communications skills.

Ability to understand and interpret regulations, regulatory guidance and apply such in a practical manner in an operational environment

Exposure to MIFID or Payment Services Directive (PSD) desirable.

UK & Irish Regulatory experience.

Third level education and/or professional qualification.

Professional Diploma in Compliance - Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI),
