THE OPPORTUNITY:
On behalf of our client, Red Tree Consulting is currently looking to recruit a Regulatory Accountant to work with Compliance department in large financial services company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Review and report on Insurance Legislation & Regulatory requirements
- Liaise with Finance function to ensure filing obligations are satisfied within regulatory deadlines
- Perform internal reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulation.
- Provide timely and accurate compliance advice and assistance.
- Identify, investigate and report on errors and breaches
- Provide compliance management information to senior management including contribution to board and committee reports
- Complete ad hoc reports and duties as required by Management
CANDIDATE PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Professional qualification in Accountancy
- Financial Services /Insurance Industry experience
- Highly motivated with the ability to demonstrate creative problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Very strong research and collaboration skills
- Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel
