Red Tree collects personal and non-personal data. Non-personal data essentially cannot be used to identify you or contact you but can include collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We will collect your data directly when you submit an application or cv or any information in relation to a position, subscribe to our email updates and/or contact us by phone or email or through our website in relation to any position. We will also collect data non-directly in relation to you when we contact referees, professional bodies and/or clients in relation to applications.

Purpose for collecting Data

to provide our recruitment services to you and to maintain our business relationship, where you are a user of our website, a client or candidate;

to enable you to submit your CV for general applications, to apply for specific jobs or to subscribe to our job alerts and to receive our news and industry updates.

to match your details with job vacancies, to assist us in finding a position that is most suitable for you and to send your personal information to clients in order to apply for jobs. Please note that the passing on of your data to our clients is always done with your prior consent and approval.

to provide to trusted third parties where we have retained them to provide services that you or our clients have requested, such as reference, qualification and criminal reference checking services (as required), verification of the details you have provided from third party sources. These third parties comply with similar and equally stringent undertakings of privacy and confidentiality as Red Tree.

to provide to third parties who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as professional advisors, IT consultants carrying out testing and development work on our business technology systems. Where will we store your data

Red Tree Recruitment places the utmost importance on the security of your data and confirm that all data will be securely held on our systems. We will store your data securely on our database Recruit So Simple which is only accessed internally by our consultants in order to provide you with recruitment services.

We will only hold your information for as long as is necessary to comply with our statutory and contractual obligations and in accordance with our legitimate interests as a data controller. We hold your data for a period of 3 years after which time is it deleted.
